Govt, firms urged to expand local EV charging stations - Business Mirror

Quick Summary:

The government and the private sector should fasttrack the installation of more charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) to keep up with the increase in the adoption of EVs in the Philippines.

Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, vice chairman, president and CEO of Hariphil Asia Resources Inc.(HARI), said these charging stations would help ease the “range anxiety” among car users.

The company said the HARI Cab has “flexible body options such as HARI Cab Aluminum Van, HARI Cab Shuttle, and the HARI Cab School Bus that can adapt seamlessly to the needs of small businesses, cooperatives, LGUs, and logistics providers across the country.“Powered by a Euro 4 D4CC diesel engine, it delivers 160 ps at 3,000 rpm and 40 kg-m of torque from 1,250–2,800 rpm.
